Community Development and Historic Preservation
St. Croix Foundation firmly believes that the health of St. Croix’s towns plays a pivotal role in the community’s social and economic development. As part of our focus on Community Revitalization, St. Croix Foundation has taken the lead in rebuilding and revitalizing our historic town centers through several ongoing initiatives.
Fiscal Sponsorship Services
In an effort to foster healthy non-profits throughout the Territory, St. Croix Foundation has served as a trusted Fiscal Sponsors for countless community-based projects since our inception. The services we provide play a critical role for ensuring the success and sustainability of local charitable initiatives and currently include grant monitoring, program administration, auditing and compliance.
Public Safety
Since our inception, St. Croix Foundation has maintained a close working relationship with the Virgin Islands Police Department (VIPD). Working along with civic organizations and the VIPD, the Foundation has demonstrated our commitment to making the Virgin Islands a better and safer place to live. As a nonprofit organization with excellent public and private sector relations,
we have spearheaded a number of successful initiatives and developed strategic partnerships to that end.
Youth and Education in the Virgin Islands
Throughout the St. Croix Foundation’s existence, the community has consistently identified the need for targeted grant opportunities and educational resources for educators and students. In response, the Foundation has committed itself to focusing significant attention on education and youth. Our goal is to expand existing programs and to offer new, comprehensive educational and youth initiatives in support of the community’s young people.
